A Study On Higher Education Popularization In The United States And It's Inspiration

Higher education is an important part of the organism of adjusting and controlling.The thought that higher education should meet the wide needs of state and society becomes clearer and clearer.It is reflected by the popularization of higher education,and becomes the trend now.Most developed countries have been in the advanced stage,which higher education has been popular,in the 1960s.So far,many developing countries have also been in this stage,but for China there's long way to go.At present,the popularization of higher education of China has been considered as a government program,and how to realize it has been a popular topic.The realization of it can help China get superiority in the competition of knowledge economy era.The United States is not only the cradle of higher education popularization theories,but also the first country to practice it.From 1940s to 1970s,it has rich experiences.In this article,the development of higher education popularization of America is reviewed and analyzed in the following four aspects:legislation,funds,system,and quality supervision,so to put forward the acceptable and fit measures for China higher education popularization.
