High school stage is the important stage in the learning career for high school students. College entrance examination directly influences high school students'prospect. So it is necessary for teachers to fully mobilize students'learning interests and initiatives. To improve students'self-confidence and self-efficacy while facing difficulties and guide them to self-study.There are three main purposes in this research. First, investigate and analyze the current situation of students'self-regulated learning ability and their academic self-efficiency. Second, compare the differences of self-regulated learning and their academic self-efficiency in different demography variables. Third, discuss the relationships between self-regulated learning ability and their academic self-efficiency.With the reference of Primary and Middle school students Self-learning Scale Forms by professor Pang Weiguo and revised High School Academic Self-efficiency by Zeng Xinghua, this research has surveyed 446 high school students in Grade One and Grade Two from Hebi and Kaifeng two high schools.The conclusions of this research are as follows. First, the total development level of high school students'self-regulated learning ability and their academic self-efficiency is not high enough; the development of all dimensions is unbalanced. Second, the development level of high school students'self-regulated learning ability and their academic self-efficiency in different schools, sexes, subjects are very different. Third, the relationship of high school students'self-regulated learning ability and their academic self-efficiency and that of various dimensions within them are both of highly positive correlations. Fourth, the two dimensions of academic self-efficiency have significant prediction function for self-regulated learning ability and its all dimensions.Based on the conclusions, this research puts forward five education teaching suggestions.First, because of the person different, guides the students to establish reasonable learning goals.Second, improve students'correct understanding about learning ability, help students to make correct attribution about study results.Third, offer fully trust and caring to students, enhance students'self-confidence. Fourth, establish tutorial system which can strengthen after-class study guide, pertinently undertake to the student learning counseling.Fifth, improve students'mental health levels, set up talents training target in all-around development.
