In recent years,research for child's intelligence developing products has been a hot topic. With further research, it has been improved much more in the field for the normal children. However, for the exceptional children, the products are extremely rare. Especially for the hearing-impaired children, the products can not only provide help in their rehabilitation, but also develop their intelligence is even rare. According to the research about Chinese parents'view on the issue of children's education, it is found that they treat intelligence developing and artistic cultivation most important .For the hearing-impaired children, their hearing loss affected their mental development greatly and caused a lot of inconvenience in their daily life. So the hearing-impaired children need products that could be able to train their hearing ability and independent thinking desperately. This paper focuses on the intelligence developing products for hearing-impaired children. The author hopes that it would explore an educational pattern which is suitable for the hearing-impaired children through theoretical research, and help them return to mainstream society.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter provides an overview of the topics'background, motivation, purpose and significance, research methods and ideas. It mainly discusses the purpose and significance of the products for the hearing impaired children.The second chapter describes the causes and current situation, analyzes the physical characteristics and psychological characteristics of hearing-impaired children, mainly for 0-6 years old children, because this is the key period to the child's recovery. By analyzing Theories of Language Acquisition for children, it discusses the ways and means of hearing-impaired children's language learning. This provides the basis for later study.The third chapter analyzes the definition and classification of educational products and how to use them in the education according to the characteristics of hearing-impaired children. It also discusses the design direction of the products by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing products in domestic and overseas markets.Chapter four: use the design example to validate some conclusions of this research. In the use of these products, the hearing-impaired children could develop their language-learning skills and mind habits, could experience the power and confidence, could generate a sense of ownership and pleasure, could cultivate a wholesome and healthy personality, and could improve their confidence in life.The fifth chapter is a summary of intelligence developing product design for the hearing-impaired children, and the prospect of hearing-impaired children obtaining social concern.
