With the continuous progress of science and technology, social development, and further opening, China speeds up the pace with the world. At this time, the world needs to understand China, and so does China. Therefore, language teaching has been placed in key position, and English is the main language in our high school. In order to establish a new concept, make the curriculum be more creative and flexible, meet the different stages and different parts, China carries out a new curriculum reform.In the New Curriculum Standards, the task-based language teaching (TBLT for short), which leads many teachers to change their old teaching thought, has been vigorously promoted. They begin to actively explore the "task-based" teaching method, besides, they apply this approach to many aspects of English teaching, such as: writing, reading, listening, and so on.However, in the long-term English teaching, we are unable to view Grammar fairly. Some teachers think that the purpose of learning a language is communication. It is successful if one can understand and speak English clearly, so they ignore the grammar teaching; while others argue that the purpose of learning a language is to master grammar. Mastering grammar rules well means acquisition of language competence, so they attach emphasis on grammar. In fact, the grammar teaching is still an important part of teaching, and the main line of language teaching. Therefore, under the context of the new curriculum, this paper aims to demonstrate that TBLT can raise the level of grammar compared with the traditional 3P model; In addition, through questionnaires, this paper hopes to illustrate that TBLT can stimulate students'interest in learning grammar, and increase their motivation.
