As a special knowledge form which originates from the practice and applies to the practice, teacher's practical knowledge is a huge complex organization system. It is composed of all kinds of educational knowledge, and possesses a stronger comprehensiveness. Domestic and oversea scholars have different opinions about the content of teacher's practical knowledge. For the needs of discussion in this paper, based on the scholars'views through analysis and generaliazation, I summarize the content of teacher's practical knowledge into six factors:the content knowledge, educational belief, self-knowledge, situation knowledge, strategic knowledge and reflexive knowledge. So the paper try to enrich the researches on teachers' practical knowledge through the view of english major, and analyze the dynamic generative process through observing the classroom activities, In the paper, I got a lot of materials by observing the class, interviewing the participant and collecting the relative documents. So, by case study research, based on this information, I thoroughly reveal the english teacher's knowledge and analyze the factors affecting the teacher's practical knowledge and the relationships between the positive and restraining factors. According to the record of the class I try to analyze the origin of the dynamic generative of the practical knowledge and give according strategies to the related department.In this paper, there are five chapters:The first chapter is a brief introduction. It describes this paper's dissertation reason,purpose significance of the research ideas and methods. This part reviews what former researcher has done in the past, points out some problems in these studies, gives teacher's practical knowledge a specific definition and makes the reflection in the paper.The second chapter is the restore about the teacher's living environment. The participant is a school high school english teacher named Yang Xue in Jinan. I collect relative materials according her life stories, her activities participating in the school, listening her class and the co-worker's impression about her.The third chapter, I analize the strcture of her practical knowledge, and divid it into six kinds:the content knowledge, educational belief, self-knowledge, situation knowledge, strategic knowledge and reflexive knowledge.The forth chapter, I investigate the elements of influencing teacher's practical knowledge including positive and restraining factor.The fifth chapter, I put forward the strategies about advancing the teachers' practical knowledge.
