With China’s basic education reform progresses and the continuous development of teacher education reform, the teacher professional development has become a hot issue of concern. Practical knowledge of teachers as the main knowledge base of teachers’ professional development, but also aroused the enthusiasm of domestic research scholars. Novice teachers as a key stage of teacher professional development and career, how did they get a sense of teaching gradually? This has led to the author’s research interests.Practical knowledge of teachers supporting teachers in their daily teaching behavior.Then, What Practical knowledge of teachers dose elementary school novice teachers have? How they acquire the knowledge of it? In this study, I choose primary school teacher novice S for the study, I approached S teacher’s teaching life. Aimed at understanding and analyze the practical knowledge that she possessed and used. So, Classroom observations and interviews as a research tool, Narrative research approach taken by its expanded case studies.This paper consists of five chapters:The first chapter is an introduction. The main reason for the study, and the purpose and significance of the literature review are introducedThe second chapter is the study design. The main contents include: the research object, object defining the core concepts, research methods, research programs, and sorting data.The third chapter is composed of teachers’ practical knowledge of S. Mainly from a static point of view, I presented by the narrative story of S, and analysis of S practical knowledge of teachers.The fourth chapter is the development of practical knowledge of teachers of S. Mainly from the dynamic perspective, depth analysis of the process of developing practical knowledge, the path of development and influencing factors, which S teacher revealed.The fifth chapter is the conclusion. Static and dynamic analysis of the practical knowledge S possessed. It comes to that the practical knowledge of her is not rich, its formation and development is affected by many factors. Combined the study, I found, specific suggestions have made to enrich and develop the practical knowledge of novice teachers.It includes four aspects: teachers’ personal life history analysis, and reflection on practice to strengthen and improve the pre-vocational education teachers, and build a learning community. Finally, a reflection on the study limitations, and follow-up study raises prospect.
