Through the whole life of the individual, physical self is a crucial element of self-consciousness and has an important impact on adolescent Students' mental health. Although domestic researchers have done some research on adolescent Students'physical self and mental health respectively, to date, no study focuses on hearing-impaired adolescent Students'physical self-attitude and its effects on their mental health. The results have great value of training hearing-impaired adolescent students to develop a positive attitude towards life, cultivate a healthy personality, and improve their mental health.This research results indicate:(1) The physical self-attitude questionnaire for hearing-impaired adolescent students (PSQ) has a good reliability and validity. It meets the educational measurement demands, so it can be used as a tool in our research. PSQ consists four dimensions:correct cognitive, wrong cognitive, negative emotional experience, and passive behavioral tendencies.(2) The scoring order of every parts of the PSQ is:correct cognitive> wrong cognitive> negative emotional experience> passive behavioral tendencies. It indicates hearing-impaired adolescent students'physical self-attitude is positive in general, but attention should also be paid to their negative physical self-attitudes.(3) Hearing-impaired female teenage students scored significantly higher than boys in the correct cognitive and total PSQ scores. While it is reverse in wrong cognitive and passive behavioral tendencies scores. In correct cognitive scores, high school sophomores scored significantly higher than sophomores and juniors. In PSQ total scores, seniors scored significantly higher than those of freshmen and sophomores. (4) In PSQ total scores, hearing impairment adolescent students who are extrovert scored significantly higher than the students who are hybrid. While it is reverse in passive behavioral tendencies scores. In PSQ total scores, healthy hearing impairment adolescent students scored significantly higher than the sick students. In passive behavioral tendencies scores, healthy hearing impairment adolescent students scored significantly lower than the sick students.(5) Hearing-impaired adolescent students' physical self-attitudes have a important role in their mental health. The dimensions of correct cognitive and negative emotional experience may be a better predictor of mental health.
