Study On The Safety Education Model In The University Community

When our society is in transition, universities are no longer the closed "Ivory Tower". The university and the surrounding mix together gradually with the further socialization of the rear service at institutions of higher learning. The university has been turning into the open community, which leading to the more hidden trouble, and bringing a lot of negative effects to the school order and the student life. At the same time, the case about the college students being stolen, swindled, robbed or harmed occur frequently, the number of accidents increases year by year that about the college students encountering traffic accident, fire disaster, drowning or food poisoning, the campus violence has been pervasive across that about drinking and causing trouble or fighting, and the college students' self harm, suicide, hurt others or murder incident often happen. These problems happened with increasingly complex external environment, but the students' weak awareness of safety, legal consciousness, self control and protection ability are also the important factors. Our college students can not deal with the complex and volatile international situation, and also have a big gap with the comprehensive construction well-off society's new requirement. Because of security issues, College students become more easily to get in trouble. The security issues not only affecting the university students' individual education development, the physical and mental health, but also bringing pain and disturbing to their family.Even the Social harmony and stability will be affected.At the first, this paper points out the deficiency and directions for improvement of domestic colleges in relevant fields, by making a comparison of the Safety education research between domestic and international colleges. The second, the author put the college student individual as the research object, analysis college students physical, mental development situation and the security problems in specific time frame (university stage) and specific locations (college community). The third, the author analysis the environmental safety of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and the safety hazard of the Shenzhen Polytechnic's peripheral environment. At last, this paper studies the construction of college students' safety education model, by taking the Shenzhen Polytechnic as an example. The paper analysis the Safety education status of the Shenzhen Polytechnic in the survey way measuring for 640 college students of their safety awareness and safety skills on the measurement results. This paper tries to establish scientific and effective education model for the Safety education.Through the study, the author tries to construct a big security concept as the core of the Safety education model. The model can be compared to a car. The engine, which provides automobile motivation, is the car's heart. The corresponding model is the big security concept. Automobile electrical equipment represents safety education curriculum of basic content. The education includes the life safety, environmental safety, culture safety and security ambient. Auto chassis represents theory education teaching methods. Four tires represent four ways of the practice education. Through a variety of ways for education, make full range of college students for the basic knowledge understanding. Make sure that students are able to internalize the practical skills, cultivate good behavior habits, and learn to scientific learning method. A teacher going into drive seat, representing faculty, especially teachers' quality and creativity, determines the speed of the car. Car spare tire represents the safety education of college students' protection system, only university has established the perfect protection system, safety education can worry-free develop. Finally the college students should know how to develop good security quality, how to learn the safety knowledge by themselves, how to deal with the trouble successfully. In order to make safety education model can exert maximum effect, the author believes that we should do something about the Social security work in college students' growing process. It can just do something well for university students" medical insurance and employment security. If we can do something to solve the difficulties in the real life of students, to improve their safety awareness and prevention self-rescue skill levels, cultivate good comprehensive quality, then they can become new talent and make the significant construction to Socialist China.
