The aim of quality-oriented education is personal development in an all-round way but not taking high scores for the only one purpose. It also means to emphasize the experiences and sustainable development in learning process but not only pay attention to the results. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a corresponding teaching pattern, in which students can have knowledge acquirement, ability training, personality perfection and quality improvement.Physics is a science with experiment as foundation. To teachers and their students, Experiment can provide for them a favorable teaching circumstance that help students learn new things, refresh their mind or develop various abilities in, which can improve students'scientific literacy. The thesis starts with the necessity of experimental teaching through the meaning of scientific literary, three-dimensional teaching objectives and experimental teaching. Secondly, it discusses how to guide students to study by the way of experimental teaching and gives some cases at the same time. Thirdly, it tries experimental teaching and evaluation methodology to some degree on extracurricular inquiry activities. Finally, it discusses the effect of experimental teaching on physics in senior high school, which is based on some investigation. After trying these, it is found that experimental teaching can stimulate students'interest on physics, enhance their thinking quality, train their practical abilities, improve their learning styles, promote the teacher-student relationship and then improve teaching and learning effect. But in the meantime, it is realized that there are certain difficulties in transforming teaching and learning styles, such as the present education system, assessment system, teachers' view on education etc.
