A Research On The Urban Adaptation Of Rural University Graduates

It is very important to the Urbanization process that many rural university graduates work and settle in the cities. Through the qualitative research, this paper depicts the urban adaptation of seven rural university graduates from three levels: economy adaptation, living adaptation and psychology adaptation. The research demonstrates that rural university graduates adapt well on the economy adaptation, worse on the living adaptation and psychology adaptation. Higher education promotes the urban adaptation process of rural university graduates, while the lack of social support, the system exclusion and the cultural differences are negative influences.
