In the course of school education, excellent students always have opportunities to participate competitions. Teachers will also organize competition guidance. National Chemistry Olympic(referred to as NChO),because of extensive participating areas and integration to International Chemistry Olympiad.has become an influential high school contest. Experts,scholars,and team leader teachers did a lot of research on it.But so far,research of analysing preliminary and final NChO questions as a whole from the perspective of subject competence has not yet seen. Therefore, my thesis is about the analysing preliminary and final NChO questions as a whole from the perspective of subject knowledge and subject competence.Main research methods used in the study including literature analysis, text analysis of test questions, mathematical statistics.My thesis is composed by three parts:First,do literature research,find out a model of chemistry subject competence,then use the model to analyze NChO preliminary questions.According to the research,the model of chemistry subject competence is amended. Subject knowledge in the preliminary is also summarized.Second,use the amended model of chemistry subject competence to analyze the NChO final theoretical questions, and further amend the model of chemistry subject competence.Subject knowledge in the NChO final theoretical questions is also summarized.Third, analyze the content of NChO final experimental questions, find out laws, and form a complete model of chemistry subject competence ultimately.My research conclusions are as below:First,NChO preliminary questions focus on organic chemistry, physical structure and inorganic elements.Second, NChO final theoretical questions extend the scope of knowledge.Especially in physical chemistry and analytical chemistry.Third, NChO final experiment test has its own characteristics and laws to follow. Four, according to the systematically research of literature and NChO questions,a model of chemistry subject competence can be established.On the basis of different levels of thinking quality,from the bottom of the order,the model consist of:reserve a certain amount of chemical prototype; spatial imagination; ability to identify informations and match prototype; when prototype is missing, can assume reasonably, and then solve problems through calculation or chemistry subject thought; experimental capabilities.
