This research tries hard to advocate field research method in educational administration research and use the qualitative research method to analyze the present situation and problems of rural teachers'grass root research for teaching systematically. Furthermore, the qualitative research method is a kind of activity that studying on the social phenomenon entirely by adopting many kinds of acquisition of information under the natural scene and using the induction to analyze the data and form the theory, then researching on them behaviors and the consequence by the objects of study's interaction to obtain the explanatory understanding.We find that the educational research in rural schools has been made some increasing progress and has been playing a significant role in promotion of rural schools development but there are some problem deserved to think and improve as well under the new social development and education situation in china when we review of the development process of rural schools.Comparing with the foreign related research, there are not enough the study on reformation, experiment and study itself of basic educational research, especially the study on the process and actual effect description of basic educational research, there are many articles on promotional of basic educational research, though. The real intention of this study is to describe and research on the process of the rural teachers'grass root research for teaching deeply, as well as those concerned with similar issues in a similar situation for people under a certain degree of interpretation and experience sharing.This research includes seven parts. The main contents of the first part to the third part are to tell the stories of researchers, the learning and cognition of field research method and qualitative research method and thinking on this study. In the forth part, we narrate the story of rural teachers'educational research. The fifth part is about the story of rural teachers carrying on the educational research. We tell the educational research story of several researchers in detail, such as common teachers, the researchers, instructors and managers of educational research. In the sixth part, we summarize the characters of rural teachers' educational research briefly. In the last part, we prospect on the educational research of rural teachers in china.
