Since autumn in 2009, Hubei province has started the new curriculum reform at high school. Under the circumstance of new curriculum reform, whether large numbers of rural middle school teachers and students can adapt to the reform is the key of the success of this reform. So, this thesis studies adaptability situation of the rural middle school teachers and students.Through the analysis of adaptability about the teacher and student in high school physics curriculum reform, the author puts forward some corresponding suggestions, in order to promote the new curriculum reform in rural middle schools better.This research mainly adopts the literature methodology, personal interviews and questionnaire methods to analyze problems. According to the requests of the physical new curriculum reform to the teachers and students, by analyzesing the physics teachers' and students' current adaptive state in countryside senior high schools, the author get the main conclusions as follows:The positive adaptability of physics curriculum in rural high school:(1)Teachers have a preliminary master in curriculum reform ideas.The development of curriculum reform training is certainly helpful to understand《New Course Standard of the Senior School Physics》for rural high school teachers.(2)Rural high school physics class began implementing the independent exploration, cooperation and exchange activities, the teaching way also have improved, especially in research-style teaching activities.(3) Rural teachers think that high school physics new textbooks is overall better than the old textbook,it reflects the concept and requirements of curriculum standard.The negative adaptability of rural high school physics curriculum:(1)Teachers still have partial discrepancy in understanding the new curriculum education idea.(2)Rural schools are seriously insufficient in facilities deployment of laboratory and multimedia teaching assistant resources.(3)Although the new teaching material is satisfied by teachers and students, but teachers have difficulty in concrete operation aspects and independent exploration. Rural high school still feel difficult to adapt in cooperation and exchange activities, especially research-style teaching activities.(4)Rural middle schools still execute the result of examination-oriented education appraisal system or tend to single summative assessment (examination), this makes practical teaching and learning are difficult to fit to the demands of the new curriculum standards.In the part of adaptive countermeasures and suggestions, to the negative adaptability of new physical curriculum reform in rural high school, such as teacher training, teaching mode, teaching method and evaluation system, course resources, etc., author puts forward some adaptive countermeasures in subjective and objective aspects.
