| In the early 1970s, the martial arts were spread to the world via the movies filmed by Bruce Lee through the movie media. In the late 1970s and in the early 1980s, Jackie chan and Jet li who came from the mainland pushed Wushu to new heights; Their films coming out in continuation have exerted far-reaching impact on the development of Wushu globally . Research object being the impact on the Wushu development exerted by their works, this paper analyzes the theoretical research on the Wushu development posed by their movies by using the literature material law and the work content analysis ,as well as logic method for example analysis and dialectical analysis. Given the research results, I'm convinced that the films shot by the three don't just play an crucial role in the dissemination of Wushu, but in the establishment of global cultural image of the modern Chinese Martial Arts as well.Against the backdrop of global peace, when the Wushu development got into hot water,while film media manifesting their advantages, the advent of the Kungfu films produced by the three, as a main momentum, urged the global development of Wushu . The main achievements of Bruce Lee lie in the following three facets : first of all, he first made Wushu take the world by storm; Second, the theory of jeet kune (a brand-new branch of Wushu) represented in Lee's films pointed out the direction to the development of unrestricted comprehensive combat; Third, he altered the image of "the sick man of Asia", fully manifested the national spirit of Wushu. While Jet Lee also helps to lead the way: first, his debut film "Shaolin Temple" shocked the world, setting off a upsurge of practicing Wushu in China; Second, he has taped the quintessence of Kungfu philosophy; According to further analysis of the three, I take leave to conclude : firstly, the continuity in the time of the three's works going public has provided a favorable environment for the development of Wushu; secondly , the celebrity charm stemming from the three's films has filled the tanks of reserve Wushu talents; Thirdly, the development history of the three's movies provides us with feasible reference to the choice for the media to spread Wushu; Fourthly, the mystery of the three's works gives a push to the dissemination of Wushu. Taken as the subject of the three's works, Wushu was globalized through their works. Like the usual practice to preach via Wushu, the three's works have led Wushu to the phase of film media and inaugurated a new path to spread Wushu by means of setting up a virtual society, shaping chivalrous men and heroes as well as using film media.The three kung fu movies are the main construction of the martial arts'culture image, because three Kungfu movies period is the martial arts globalization cultural image building forming stage.
