Bruce Lee ,whose Chinese name is Li Xiaolong, is a master of Chinese Martial arts, and he is also a famous action movie star. He is the first Chinese to create Jeet Kune Do(JKD),and makes a lot of Chinese action movies, which has a worldwild infuence.In Chinese Martial field, he shows the followers the way to develop Kongfu,and inspirate the young learners to change their mind and method to find the truth of Martial Arts, also in the action movie field,Bruce Lee influences more people to make different action movies, he is thrreal master.This paper most researches the inspiration and development of Bruce Lee's contribution to Chinese Martial Arts, which is based on lots of documents, interviews, questionnaire survey, and compariision.In order to find Bruce Lee's real contributions, culturology and sociology are important to the research..In this paper, there are four parts. Part one ,Bruce Lee's story and history; Part two, Bruce Lee's contrubutions to Martial, including Kongfu practice,Kongfu show, and Kongfu philosophy; Part three, Bruce Lee's infuence on morden's development of Chinese Martial Arts.The conclusions of this paper: First, the art of attack and defence in Martial Arts should be strengthened, and then it is the develppent of Martial Arts. Second, the rules of Martial Arts should include the practice of actual combat,which is simple and effctive, even the show of Kongfu. Third, the gaudy and mysterious things in Kongfu shuld be wiped off. Fourth, the function of education in Kongfu shuld be valued,and the philosophy also should be valued. Fifth, The mass media's role in Martial Arts'development is important. Sixth, Martial Arts's development depends on creation.
