Mathematics curriculum reform of high schools will be carried out across the country from 2010 on. The new curriculum proposed new educational concepts, but the new curriculum is by no means a so-called new system that is by no means to re-establish a program with no relation to the old after the old curriculum, but it is adjustments and improvements on the basis of the old curriculum, that is, new curriculum is the continuation and development of the old course. In this paper, I take solid geometry as an example, and compare the new curriculum and the old curriculum by the use of literature, comparative study, questionnaire and other research methods. The paper makes the textbooks as the main contents and compares the old and new courses on the basis of the principles of inheritance and development.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is an introduction. Combing the situations of solid geometry curriculum reform at home and abroad and the series related to the comparison of solid geometry, it proves the base and significance of the chosen topic and describes the research valuable methods.The second part is the Curriculum Ideas and the comparison of solid geometric of curriculum objectives. "High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards (Experimental)" clears the multiple educational value of mathematics and particularly reflects the basic and selectivity of mathematics curriculum. Through the list, I detail the teaching objectives of the"standard"and"outline"in the solid geometric, and analyze this in three aspects (The educational value from the geometry, positioning of the solid geometry and the action verbs ). According to the activities, the new courses will be divided into knowledge and ability in different levels, considering the way of thinking in a parallel with the basic knowledge as specific target. In the text, we emphasize the geometric intuition and plausible reasoning, paying great attention to the role of geometry of experience, including integrated geometry, weakening the axiomatic system, reducing the barrier to entry.The third part is the comparison of old and new teaching materials. Through the list, I analyze the "space geometry, the location of points and lines between surface and space vector," from the perspective of macro-and micro-dimensional geometry. In succession of the old materials in the knowledge structure, the new materials change in the knowledge structure of the arrangement and the specific content, some remove the contents completely, while some increase.The fourth part is the research(Take the survey). I concluded a survey form the following aspects: teachers and students'assignments, the changes of material shows, mathematical culture, teaching materials processing, computer applications, the grasp of teaching objectives, the arrangements of examples and exercises and so on. I point out some shortcomings of the new teaching materials, and give some advice on how to improve them.The fifth part is the conclusion of the research. With the development of the new teaching materials and the succession from the old teaching materials, we recognize the new teaching materials.
