The teaching material is based on the mathematics curriculum standard and conforms to the students' cognitive structure.It is an important tool for teachers' teaching and students' learning.The comparative study of teaching materials is of profound significance to us in understanding the educational idea,educational idea and even cultural tradition of our country and in conducting more effective teaching.In a new round of high school curriculum reform,Chinese curriculum reform research group has issued the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition).Based on the new curriculum standard,most of the contents in the high school mathematics textbooks have been changed,and the “solid geometry” part is one of them.The content of solid geometry is not only widely used in natural science and social life,but also abstract and logical,which is of great educational value to cultivate students' all-round development.At the same time,the complexity and abstractness of solid geometry make the teaching quality of this part of knowledge poor.So,what changes did the research new teaching material produce? How should the teaching method be adjusted and improved according to these changes? This is of great significance to teachers' teaching and students' learning.Based on the above situation,this article selects the taught A edition of the standard(experiment)was the math book required 2 and the taught A edition of the standards(2017edition)was the math book second volume as the research object,using literature method,content,method,comparison method,interview method,qualitative and quantitative analysis method,combining with the curriculum standard,with “solid geometry” part from the content standard,column setup,writing style,knowledge presentation,sample problem sets,the difficulty of teaching materials,six dimensions detailed comparison of mathematical culture,seeks to provide A meaningful reference to the teaching in the solid geometry.First of all,through the comparative study of the “solid geometry” part of the new and old teaching materials,it is found that the new teaching materials have the following characteristics: 1.The new teaching materials highlight the integrity and relevance of knowledge;2.The new teaching materials pay attention to the infiltration of mathematical thinking methods;3.The new teaching materials provide more opportunities for students to learn independently;4.The new teaching materials pay attention to the use of basic graphics and exercises;5 The relationship between geometry and reality of life.Secondly,through interviews with frontline teachers,we can further understand the characteristics and experience of the new textbooks.Finally,based on the comparative analysis of the old and new textbooks and the results of interviews with front-line teachers,some suggestions are put forward for the teaching of solid geometry.Teaching Suggestions: 1.Cultivate students' logical reasoning ability and spatial concept step by step;2.Pay attention to the research methods of osmotic solid geometry;3.Make full use of the columns in the textbook;4.Pay attention to the use of “basic graphics” in spatial geometry;5.Use mathematics teaching AIDS or modern teaching methods to teach.Study Suggestions: 1.Adjust the plan and break through difficulties;2.Overcome fear and build up confidence.3.Change your thinking and summarize.
