Nowadays, the world is undergoing great information technology and artificial intelligence changes.Mathematics education plays an important role in cultivating people's scientific spirit and rigorous thinking. In order to cultivate innovative talents who keep pace with the times, countries all over the world attach great importance to the reform of mathematics education, the most important of which is the reform of mathematics teaching materials.According to “High school mathematics curriculum standards” in 2017,the Chinese people's education press has carried out a major reform of high school mathematics textbooks.High school mathematics textbooks have gradually introduced the content of space vector. In 2019,the high school mathematics textbooks of people's education version A have increased the importance of “Space vector and solid geometry”.The contents of the chapter "Space vector and solid geometry" in senior high school mathematics textbooks compiled according to different versions of curriculum standards are quite different, mainly reflected in the knowledge content setting and structure arrangement. As for the chapter "Space vector and solid geometry",the new textbook has improved some deficiencies in the old textbook and added some new knowledge content and new thinking methods. The advantages and characteristics of the new textbook need to be carefully studied and summarized by high school mathematics teachers and researchers. At present, there are few longitudinal comparative studies on the contents of the chapter "Space vector and solid geometry" in the new and old textbooks.Based on the basic concepts and content requirements of the new and old curriculum standards, this paper applies the relevant textbook evaluation theory and textbook difficulty model to conduct a longitudinal comparative study on the contents of the chapter "Space vector and solid geometry" in the new and old textbooks of people's education version A,to explore the reform trend of the new textbook. And to summarize the advantages of the new textbook,it provides a reference for frontline mathematics teachers to understand and use the new teaching materials, and also provides thinking for other mathematics educators.By using the methods of literature analysis, comparative analysis and statistical analysis, this paper first makes a comparative analysis of the basic concepts of “High school mathematics curriculum standards(Experiment)” and “High school mathematics curriculum standards(2017 Edition)” and the content requirements of "Space vector and solid geometry",and then makes a comparative analysis of the layout design, style structure, text content, example exercise configuration, exercise difficulty and other aspects of the content of "Space vector and solid geometry" in the new and old textbooks of people's education version a,The following conclusions are drawn: The new textbook in 2019 embodies the basic concept of "High school mathematics curriculum standards(2017 Edition)",which is people-oriented,moral education, improving students' core mathematical literacy, optimizing curriculum structure, selecting content, paying attention to teaching quality and process evaluation; The new textbook pays attention to the application of vector method and coordinate method to solve solid geometry problems,so that students can understand the essence of vector method; The new textbook focuses on stimulating students to summarize mathematical concepts and theorems through independent exploration, and cultivating students' innovative spirit; Finally, this paper also gives the prospect and thinking of the comparative study of space vector and solid geometry in the new and old textbooks.
