Well-being is an important psychological evaluation index of measuring people's life quality. At the beginning of the century, the teacher's well-being become focus point in the academic study of education.This research try to integrate the view of Subjective Well-Being and Psychology Well-Being,chooses the special group from the inner Mongolian universities. Therefore, the research on factors influencing the college teachers' well-being and discussion of the ways of promoting college teachers' well-being are very significant to assure the high quality teaching in higher institutions and promote the development of higher education, to provide the basis on Mental health for college teachers and university management educationThis research mainly adopts "questionnaire of general happiness" as the assessment tool and a questionnaire survey to investigate 337 college teachers from Inner Mongolia Normal University, Hulunbeir College and Chifeng College. The research shows that university teachers' well-being mean index is 6.23 in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its standard deviation is 1.379, which is above the average level,and the overall status of university teachers' well-being is more happy. And then we study different demography variables' influence on their well-being, the specific results are as follows:(1) Gender affects college teachers' levels of well-being,the fema-le teachers' general happiness level is higher than male teachers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; (2) Age influences on college teachers'levels of well-being, older teachers'well-being is the strongest, whereas young teachers' well being is somewhat lower;(3) Marriage status influences on college teachers' levels of well-being,the well-being level of unmarried college teachers is higher than that of married teachers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region;(4) Whether to have private housing or not affects college teachers'levels of well-being,the well-being level of college teachers with private housing is higher than that of those without private housing in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region;(5) Professional title influences on college teachers'levels of well-being, happiness index is increasing as the rise in professional titles. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region presents professors'well-being is the highest, whereas it is the lowest for college teachers without professional titles;(6) The nature of work influences on college teachers'levels of well-being,In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the well-being of college teachers being engaged in teaching is higher than that of those being engaged in administrative work;(7) Whether to serve as instructors affects college teachers'levels of well-being, college teachers served as instructors are happier than those served as teachers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region;(8) School age affects college teachers'levels of well-being, In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the happiness index of college teachers is increasing with the increase of teaching age;(9) Income affects college teachers'levels of well-being,the result of this study supports that the higher college teachers'incomes are, the stronger their well-being is. Based on the results of the study, this paper proposes solving strategies from three aspects such as social support, school behavior and personal effort, that is, providing powerful social support system from the social angle, creating campus culture with high quality from the angle of high school, making the teaching groups united and regular group counseling, establishing good relationships from the individual angle, learning the ways to cope with pressure, and shaping positive personality traits, etc.
