Research On Cultural Character Of Nadam In Mongolian Empire

"Nadam", which is a sort of Mongolian traditional sports, originated from primitive communes period, adapting to the social status and the development, revealing distinct attribute in different times. By literary material and research from other people, in this paper, introducing the method combining analysis and induce, I argue the character and the presenting form of Nadam in Mongolian Empire period.This paper contains three parts, introduction, main part, and conclusion, arguing four facets,1 Attribute researching of Nadam in Mongolian Empire period,2 Form researching of Nadam in Mongolian Empire,3 Attribute conclusion,4 Discussion of effect and function.Nadam in Mongolian Empire period characterized the time then, mainly representing "strength", reflecting the psychology of national culture, habitude, aesthetics, belief, worship and so on. It played a crucial role in regime reinforcing, solidarity of nations, communication of cultures, economic development, education, tourism, division and other area.For the multicultural society nowadays, on the issue how to inherit and conserve national culture and to develop tourism in minority region, research on promoting function of Nadam for the social development in Mongolian Empire period will be enlightened.
