In recent years,active learning has been the concern of many people, more and more academics,front-line educators have also added to the study of autonomous learning.The "Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial) " promulgated in our coutry described the importance of continuously self-learning in students' self-development in curriculum reform objectives,teaching process and curriculum evaluation.Active learning has been put a higher position.As cecondary vocational school teachers and education authorites, how to cultivate and improve the learning ability of vocational students has become an urgent problem.Independent learning ability can make vocational students continue to improve themselves after formal education.There are many studies on the active learning,researchers at home and abroad all have their own views and opinions about it.Although there is no single definition about active learning, essentially all points of view are the same.In general, independent learning is the opposite with the traditional learning,it is also an learning ability and study habits,students with such learning abiliy can control their own learning prosess,be capable of self-regulation,and evaluate their own learning outcomes.About the influent factors on independent study of vocational students,this paper has done a survey and analysis from student learning motication,learning goals,learning strategies,self-monitoring capability and so on.From the talks with students,I knew that teacher-student relationship and their learning psychology played a significant role on their independent study.Based on the self-learning theories,using documents,questionnaires and other methods,in this paper the author pointed out the need for cultivating Secondary Vocational students'self-learning ability,and further elaborated self-learning concepts and theories,and also conducted a questionnaire survey about the Secondary Vocational students'self-regulated learning situation.On the basis of understanding Secondary Vocational students'learning,the author furter analyzed problems and causes such as lack of motivation,incapable of making their own goals,unmatural learning stratigies, lack of awareness of self-control.Then the author proposed training strategies:to cultivate and inspire students learning motivation, build self-learning scenarios, set up psychological counseling class and build information technology environment.
