Students are the main parts in the process of knowledge architecture, their classroom behavior not only reflect the extent of students" studying and knowledge architecture, but also can materialize the characteristic of teaching. I try to explore the feature of student engagement and its reason and influence on learning effect through two primary researches and two principal researches.In the primary research 1, I found there are some features about student engagement by the analysis of 8 video cases. Firstly, answering, practicing and thinking are the main participative behaviors in classroom. Secondly, students is passive in the classroom, because we can see that students' chance and time which spend in thinking is less compared to a great number of answers. Thirdly, collective answer is the major method of answer in classroom, the intelligent answer is at most among the answers, following is memorial and mechanical answers, and there also has the phenomenon of silent when teacher asked the question. At the same time, the study shows that practical teacher's questions are more than fresh teacher, and they pay more attention to the discussion in classroom as well, however, the practical teacher gives less chance of thinking to students.In order to explore the reason of the features of student engagement, I design the questionnaire to investigate the teachers and students' faith, attitude and emotion to mathematics. After getting a good result about the reliability test through the primary-research 2, I found some results by the questionnaire survey in principal research 1. To begin with, teachers' notion of mathematics and teaching affect the condition of student engagement largely. Secondly, the primary cause of massive answers is students" anxiety when they answered the question. Thirdly, it is proved teacher" question grows in direct proportion to students' answer via software SPSS, this means that teacher can trigger students' answer more effective by force of the different kinds of questions.The principal research 2 proves that adding the chance and time of student engagement is beneficial to improve the ability of students' understanding and applying to question, and the successful students handle the time better than others.
