Rhetoric teaching is an important part of junior Chinese teaching. At present many junior middle school students in rhetoric consciousness and rhetoric ability still exist many defects, which reflects the rhetoric in the teaching of junior goal orientation, content selection and methods selection on some problems still exist. In rhetoric teaching goal orientation, the rhetoric view, rhetoric consciousness, rhetoric criticism ability and the rhetoric innovation ability of cultivating are still lack enough attention; The existing rhetoric teaching content more intolerance, difficult to support and realize the set teaching goal; In teaching methods, teaching way is relatively single and boredom, which is hard to enhance students' learning interest and effect. This study adopts literature, case law, content analysis and investigation method, etc, to the junior middle school chinese rhetoric teaching goal, content and methods of theoretical explorations. To change the present situation, the rhetoric teaching goal, content and methods must be adjusted and perfected. Teaching goals in rhetoric, should pay attention to train students' correct rhetoric view and good pragmatic ability; In terms of teaching content in rhetoric from two angles vertical and lateral extension and outspread; Teaching method, the rhetoric should be good at using comparative method, also note innovation teaching methods, fully develop teaching resources, to improve the students' learning interest and effects. This research can provide theoretical reference for junior middle school Chinese teachers to teach rhetoric.
