Althought, Cheerleading has a short time develop in china, that the competition of content has always imitated foreign cheerleading. Nowadays, China has not formed a system of cheerleading theory and training mechanisms that lead people not to understandant the content, technology, and other aspects of the cheerleading. so it is necessary to study the development features of the cheerleading in different countries to search the characteristics of cheerleeding for finding a suitable way to China's cheerleading project development.Japan as our neighbours, it is not only similar in geography, environment with our country, but also has been a great development after leading into the United States project。It has a mature understanding in cheerleading and has a leading position in the competitive cheerleading level of the world. It has important theoretical and practical significance to our to correct understand and develop the national Cheerleading by learning the successful experiences of japan,The article mainly uses literature, expert interviews, video observation, questionnaire survey method, compare the similarities and differences in project knows, projects, games, technology, style, project management and other aspects of competitive Cheerleading between china and japan. Research indicates that:(1) Japan Cheerleading has got great development, which received strong support and warmly praised from the Government to the schooland parents; Our cheerleading mainly depend on government departments to promote and develop, which is difficult to understand and promote and extensive the system from school to the community, and lack of social power to develop. (2) Our competitive Cheerleading mainly develop Dance as content and orient to domestic popularity and development as the goal; Japan cheerleading mainly to skills-based, promoto and develop the projects in the world and orient to cheerleading into Olympic Games as their goals. (3) In the technical action style, Japan more emphasis on team work which keep neat and consistent; But we much more pay attention to the diversity and difficulty, which ignored the unit of the team. (4) In management system,China is guided by the Government sector, and work with some other sectors, Japan is managed by associations, which is independent of government and other commerce sectors. (5) China cheerleading coaches is be appointed, and the qualificate examination and training system is not perfect.
