The article takes the male athlete of national wheelchair basketball as the research object, Mainly for the following studies:(1)To analysis characteristics of the morphology (sitting height, fingertip distance), vital capacity, and reaction time. (2) to analyze the characters on the changes of heart rate in Wheelchair Basketball game. (3) to analyze the changes of blood lactate of the men's wheelchair basketball player. (4) to determine the characters of supply characteristics and exercise intensity in Wheelchair Basketball game.Research method:(1)the author does the experiment in Beijing Basketball exercise center of disabled persons, and measured the morphology (sitting height, fingertip distance),vital capacity and the reaction time before basketball game. (2) using POLAR watch to monitor fully the Heart rate changes of the ten men wheelchair athletes. (3)the author twice measured the blood lacate during the intermission and after the game.The results shows the wheelchair basketball players dates that The average sitting height is 92.8±2.5cm, the fingertip distance is186±9.4cm, FVC is 4412±425ml and the reaction time is 0.41±0.04s. (2) Average heart rate is 144±9.83 b/m, and the maximum heart rate 176.09±8.57 b/m,40% of the overall time the distribution of their heart rate is between 140 to 160, the trend of heart rate declined with the game time going on each festival. (3) the blood lactate values are all low during the overall game (2.589±0.731mmol/L), Severe disabilities, changes of blood lactic acid is more significant than those with mild (P<0.05), and the second half is higher than the first half (P<0.05) Wheelchair basketball players in different positions blood lactate production rate also have significant differences, which forwards are the highest, followed by guard and center minimum.Conclusion:1 Men's wheelchair basketball players vital capacity is significantly greater than the normal lower extremity disabilities, and no significant difference with normal persons, the reaction time is (?)ficantly faster than the normal basketball player. Tips, wheelchair basketball can help improve lung capacity and reaction time of lower limb disabilities.2. Men's Wheelchair Basketball affected by its technical characteristics, the exercise intensity is moderate and significantly lower than the normal basketball game. (3).In competition the blood lactate of Men's Wheelchair Basketball Players are at a low level, indicating that the energy source of the wheelchair basketball competition mainly is aerobic energy-support, and glycolysis energy support is auxiliary, and there are significant differences with normal basketball game.4. In the second half, the heart rate and blood lactate of wheelchair basketball players apprently decreaed, suggesting that the daily training for the athletes is in low intensity. When the body is experiencing high strength load, it can not remain in high competitive state for a long time.
