Study On The Quality Model Of The Excellent Hockey Player Of Our Country

Quality model (competency model) originated in the 1970s, it has become frontier in the study of the management and psychological field, with the maturity of quality model theory research, it was introduced to other industries and fields, such as human resource management in which is an effective tool, but still rarely involved in the sports fields, only limited to research on sports coaches, currently, there are few related study on the athletes diathesis model in the domestic.Athletes are most important talents in athletic field, its quality directly decides the country or regions'competitive sports level. This study uses quality model as the theory basis,20 hockey players as the research object, from the perspective of management. Through behavioral event interview (BEI) of China's 10 excellent hockey players (state-level) and 10 general (national level below athletes),the author primarily establishes initial quality model of elite hockey player, and carried out an empirical test to analyze and explain the initial model, finally reach the following conclusions:(1) This thesis evaluate and analyze the sample of20 hockey player's behavioral event interview to construct initial quality model of the excellent hockey player.(2) By making scale and large sample questionnaire to verify our top hockey players'quality model, and prove positive correlation between the quality characteristics and excellent performance rank.which is to say our top hockey player quality model in the paper of is effective.The excellent hockey player diathesis model set up in the paper includes 2 dimensions,6 big categories and 21 quality items,①knowledge, including basic sport knowledge and hockey theory knowledge,②skills, including hockey skills and mental quality skills,③physique, including physical morphology and physiological function, the physical quality.Potential qualities:④self-perception, including self-confidence and their interest in sport;⑤motivation, needs, including achievement orientation, sport motivation, emulative desire,⑥personality traits, including will, teamwork spirit, planning, the positive enterprising, stable mood qualities.(3) Excellent ice hockey players quality model was analyzed and illustrated respectively, and each item's quality characteristics in the model were defined, the research give us each quality's act descriptions, and summarize the difference of excellence and general performance, which has laid a good foundation for further instruction practice.(4) This paper summarizes the significance of hockey player's quality model in hockey players'selection, training and development, career planning, and performance assessment, and it also provides exploratory study on actual application, which i hope will be instructive in improving hockey players'quality, and promoting the development of the hockey sports.
