The purpose of this study was to find the optimum warm-up technique among some of the most popular warm-up techniques.12 participants were involved in this study. First the participant had to do a fatigue level evaluation. If he showed sign of fatigue, the rest of the test will be canceled. If he feels good at the evaluation section, he will proceed to do a 5 min jog. Then the participant will do one of the warm-up techniques randomly. Four warm-up techniques used in this study were dynamic stretching, Whole-body Vibration, dynamic stretching and Whole-body Vibration, Whole-body Vibration and dynamic stretching. All of the tests were taken within the Beijing Sport University Sport Science Research Center, Strength and Conditioning Lab. The test time was between 3:00 pm to 5:pm. At least 48 hours were allowed in order for participant got sufficient rest time. The dynamic stretching routine contains 10 different drills. The Whole-body Vibration routine includes 1 min 90°knee flexion two foot squat,1 min 120°knee flexion two foot squat, lmin 120°knee flexion single leg squat. The statistic analysis shows the countermovement jump performances after using the dynamic stretching technique were significantly different from the rest warm-up techniques. Also, countermovement jump performances at 3 min and 6 min postwarmup were significantly different from the countermovement jump performances at 15 min postwarmup. Based on the statistical analysis results, coaches and athletes should use dynamic stretching warm-up techniques prior to training and competition. The use of dynamic stretching should at least 15 min before the physical activity. Further research is suggested and should try to change to a relatively high vibration frequency.
