| According to the American Psychological Association (1994), the estimated ratio for Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) in children is 4-10%; And children diagnosed with DVD are affected with motor-based restrictions in their daily life and study, which, as a consequence, may even cause some negative psychological effects on them. In our country, the status quo of researches on Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) in children still has much room for development. Thus the study of children with developmental coordination disorder has become extremely important. In this study, the development coordination disorder questionnaire 2007 (DCDQ7) has been screened and the factors that affect DCD children of 7-12 in Shanghai has been analyzed accordingly. On such basis, experimental group and control group have been selected; and SPARK curriculum has been used as an intervention; M-ABC Test has been adopted to test the scores of hand fine motor, balance and ball skills before and after the experiment; and the independent samples t test and paired samples t test have been applied to analysis the effectiveness of interventions. With the results of survey research and experimental research, conclusions have been drawn as follows:1. The incidence rate of children with developmental coordination disorder in Shanghai is relatively high; and the incidence rates of each gender are almost the same; and physical causes and the pathogenesis remain uncertain.2. The motor coordination of children with developmental coordination disorder will improve as the children grow up, but some motor behaviors caused by bad habits are difficult to change.3. Enjoying sports and participating in activities are important methods to improve the motor coordination of developmental coordination disorder children4. The feasibility of Developmental coordination disorder questionnaire (2007) remains to be examined through further studies in Shanghai.5,The children's ability of movement control is relatively easier to improve compared with fine motor control and overall coordination ability; motor control development of developmental coordination disorder children works better in middle-income families.6. The SPARK curriculum can significantly improve the status of student's coordination; and the football unit in SPARK curriculum is supposed to be the intervention of developing children's coordination ability in Shanghai.7. Purposeful and intentional intervention can significantly improve children's corresponding action coordination. |
