Innovation Research Of Teaching Method On Ideological And Political Course In Universities Of National Regions

Since "No.16 Document" (The Suggestion about Strengthening and Improving the College Students'Education of Ideology Politics Given by The State Council Of The Central Committee Of The CPC) was issued and "05 Scheme" (The Suggestion about Further Strengthening and Improving the Ideological and Political Theory Course in the University Given by CPC Central Committee Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education) was implemented, the teaching of ideological and political course in universities of national regions has been greatly strengthened and improved and has made good achievement. For instance, both the content and method of teaching have been enriched continuously. College students'morality has been developed in a healthy way. Nevertheless, weakness still exists in the teaching of ideological and political course in universities of national regions. The teaching method needs to be innovated and the practical teaching should be strengthened. Besides, the under-development and inadequate utilization of distinctive teaching resources of ideological and political course in universities of national regions are also problems. Therefore, the teaching effectiveness for ideological and political course in universities of national regions has to be improved by the innovation of the teaching method.In order to reform and innovate the teaching method of ideological and political course in universities of national regions, on the one hand, new concept should be used to guide the innovation of the teaching method. We must give full respect for the unique features of ideological and political course in universities of national regions and stick to the new concept of "students first". Since the concept "students first" is the foundation and prerequisite of innovation, we have to reflect the new concept in the innovation research of ideological and political course in universities of national regions. On the other hand, we must follow the directional principle, principle of linking theory with practice, and all-embracing principle.For the teaching method innovation of ideological and political course in universities of national regions, we must first discuss the development principle and method of the distinctive teaching resource. The national regions have access to rich and distinctive teaching resource, which plays a significant role in promoting the teaching building features and improving teaching pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political course. Classroom teaching and practical teaching are two major parts of ideological and political course teaching. In terms of classroom teaching method innovation, we will focus on innovation of infusion method and heuristic education. For innovation of practical teaching method, we will pay attention to the following six practical teaching methods:case study, moral education base, social practice, research practice, reading practice and virtual environment.
