The influence of emotion, attitude, circumstances and other factors on mathematics learning has obtained more and more attention. Belief, a concept borrowed from psychology, is a good generalization of emotions, attitudes and circumstances and other external factors in the process of individual mathematics learning. With the development of pedagogy and psychology, researchers do not confine their studies to the system of individual acquisition. They are trying to construct the belief system in the mathematics education and have already got many valuable findings.According to the cognition theory, students'belief is based upon their social life and is influenced by the social cultural circumstances. Students'mathematics belief is either covert or overt. Based on forerunners'studies, this paper is centered on the construction of mathematics belief system of senior high school students. With the analysis of the elements of students'mathematics belief system and the construction of mathematics belief system mold, some ideas will be presented in this paper. Belief system is made up of students'belief about mathematics acquisition, evaluation of mathematics teaching, self-identification in mathematics learning and mathematics circumstances. Those beliefs together influence students'learning of mathematics. Therefore, triangular prism mold can be constructed to analyze the relationship among those beliefs and each belief's influence on students'mathematics grade. The study on the difference of gender and liberal arts and science in this belief system mold was made with questionnaires. With the help of questionnaires about students'belief about mathematics acquisition, evaluation of mathematics teaching, self-identification in mathematics learning and mathematics circumstances in some senior high schools of Shenzhen and the observation of senior high school students'mathematics learning in the practical mathematics teaching, it was found that the four factors in senior high school students'belief system are closely related and have close relationship with mathematics grade. Therefore, the triangular prism mold is effective in the analysis of the interrelationship of factors in mathematics belief system and their influence on grade and the difference of gender and liberal arts and science factors is also clearly presented in this mold, which proves the dynamic and developing qualities of this mold.
