Teacher belief of Mathematics teachers are formed and developed in the long-termlearning and educational practice. It is related to the phenomenon of mathematics education,and their teaching and study of student understanding of subjectivity. Currently, lots of thestudy on mathematics teacher belief, are based on the level of macroscopic theory. In orderto understanding of the theoretical framework of specific connotation of the teacher beliefclearly, they should explore micro and empirical perspective, so can provide a reference onimproving the teacher belief of mathematics.We used quantitative research methods on high school mathematic teacher beliefresearch. Through questionnaires, teacher belief from the following three aspects: Firstly,mathematical beliefs, researcher including the understanding of the mature of mathematics,understanding of mathematical objects understanding of the mathematical value; Secondly,mathematics learning beliefs, research including the understanding to do the math, mathproblem awareness and understanding of the mathematics learning aspects; Thirdly,mathematics teaching beliefs, research including the understanding and teaching ofmathematics teaching efficacy.This study based on50high schools mathematics teachers in Chongqing. Throughquestionnaires, the results show that high school mathematics teachers’ mathematical beliefsfor mathematics teachers teaching level are stabilized; Especially for mathematics learningbeliefs do mathematical understanding of the level of teaching of mathematics teacherssignificant; Mathematics teaching beliefs,especially teaching,mathematics teaching beliefsoff than mathematics learning beliefs.Based on the study of above, in the teachers’ professional development, we shouldguide the pre-service teachers to forming the correct teacher belief. We should provideteachers with reasonable material security to stabilize the grade teacher belief too; firm bygiving teachers more humane care teachers’ beliefs; through the promotion of self-reflectionto enhance the teacher belief. Mathematics teachers should pay more attention to learning andreflection, in the process of teaching and research, learning advanced educationalphilosophy and spirit, to reflect on their own teaching practice, learning and thinkingconstantly improve their cultivation. They should also summarize the teaching experience,and often communicate with colleagues, and improve the effectiveness of classroomteaching.
