With the rapid development of network technology and multimedia, the type of instructional resources has become varied. It is inevitable demand that change the instructional resources into digital resources and construct the instructional resource database system. Although there are quite a lot of instructional resource database system, there still exist many problems, such as lower visit rate and update rate. How to design and develop the instructional resource database system with ecological feature is the main content of this paper.First, the author elaborated related concepts based on consulting and analyzing related papers on ecology and instructional resource database system, then the author presented the concept of ecological resources by analyzing the features of network ecosystem and classroom ecological system and concluded the ecological model of instructional resource database system, at last, the author constructed the instructional resource database system based on B/S. This system was consisted of six modules:user management, upload and load module, resources evaluation module, project management module, search module, background management system. The system has implemented the user's registration and login, downloading and uploading the learning resources and so on.The paper divided into five chapters.Chapter I:Introduction. Mainly introduced the topic research background and the present situation.Chapter II:The ecological and instructional resources. This part mainly introduced the related concepts and concluded the ecological model of instructional resource database system by analyzed the ecological features of the network and the class.Chapter III:The analysis and design of the instructional resource database system. Introduced the demand analysis of the system, the design of the system, the database design as well as the functional module design. Chapter IV:The realization of the instructional resource database system. Introduced in detail in the system each module's programming as well as each module involves the key points of skill. Chapter V:Summarization and expectation. On the entire system design and development process and the lack of a system that in the future and make suggestions for improvement.
