"Cultivate modern citizens with the necessary geographic literacy" is the basic concept of geography courses, geographical science literacy is an important component of geographical literacy, cultivate students'scientific literacy is an important value orientation of geography. Geographic experiment is a feature of physical geography teaching, and it has some advantages that other regular teaching can not match. The author combined Geographic experiment with the cultivation of High School students'geographical science literacy, discusses how to develop students' scientific literacy by Geographic experiment.The author did some research on the following aspects:The first part is an introduction. Explained the background of the selected topic, analysis of relevant studies at home and abroad, building the technical route of this study,some innovations.In second part defines the meaning of scientific literacy and its geographical composition, explained the meaning of experimental teaching of geography and category. Analysis of experimental teaching of geography in high school geography as the role of scientific literacy training.The third part is theory analysis. Explored the theoretical basis of the study, such as John Dewey's "Learning by doing" and Tao Xingzhi's "Six liberations" ideology, constructivist learning theory, multiple intelligence theory and geography teaching theory. Then analysised the main factor that influence the choice of experimental teaching of geography, cited some geography experimental that could be carried out in physical geography teaching.The fourth part is the foreign reference. Analysis of the features of geographical experimental design in the U.S. geography textbooks, and the characteristics of experimental teaching in British, Germany and France,so that the author can gain enlightenment.The fifth part is Survey. The author analysis status about theHigh School students' geographical science literacy and geography experimental teaching through questionnaires, interviews, classroom observation, etc. Then identify some problems, analyze the reason to provide direction for the proposed strategy. The sixth part is strategy proposed. The author proposed five principles of literacy training, such as subjective, holistic, relevant, open and procedural.Then proposed some strategy for demonstrate experimental, producing experimental and experimental practice to cultivate students' scientific literacy.In the sixth part is empirical study. Under the guidance of the relevant policy, the author selected some representative physical geography teaching contents to carry out empirical research. Put the theory into practice, and further reflection of the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed strategy.The last is the conclusion. Summarized the main point of this study, pointed out the inadequacies of this paper, and forwarding future studies could be carried out in the future.
