Allowing with the implementation of the new curriculum standard,geographic teaching from aim at realizing three-dimensional target,to pay more attention to achieve core literacy of geography.Geographic practical ability is an important part in core literacy of geography,and it plays an important role in cultivating students' core literacy of geography and responding the goal of establish moral character and frame personality which is published by Ministry of Education.The consulting a large number of existing literature on geographic experiment teaching found that most studies only around the theory on procedure,classification,principle and implement of geographic experiment teaching,neither discussing about the function of geographic experiment teaching,nor putting forward corresponding cultivation strategy.This article as a breakthrough,to the geographic experiment teaching profound research,together with the detailed questionnaire,comprehend the present situation and existent problems of junior high school students'geographic practical ability.And put forward specific cultivation strategy according to those problems.Considering the specific subject,first used the method of document analysis to define geographical practice ability and geographic experiment.And then through the survey method,set up specific survey,recognize the current state of our junior school students and existent problems,and put forward specific strategy.Finally validating the scientificalness and effectiveness of those strategy according to specific teaching practice.Results basically has the following several aspects:(1)defined geographic experiment teaching and geographic practical ability,and illustrated the geographic practical ability contains geographic operational and drawing ability,observation and measurement ability,and research and investigation ability.(2)Statistics on specific questionnaire paint a sobering picture that students'geographic practical ability is not satisfactory.(3)Put forward different cultivation strategy about three geographic ability,and establish the systems about cultivating geographic practical ability.(4)After put those specific strategy into practice,we draw an conclusion that those specific strategy is scientificalness and effective.This paper put forward specific strategy about promoting students' geographic practical ability basis on the theory of geographic experiment teaching and geographic practical ability.From the perspective of some high school geography teachers have little of inspired,to support teachers to develop education calculation method,and enhanced implement the new curriculum standard;To offer reference for new researchers.
