21st century is an era values development highly, and puts forwardlifelong requirement to talents for initiative development. Therefore, thecultivation of consciousness, capability and level in self study plays avital role in the future development of new generation builders.Meanwhile, the new curriculum reform also clearly raises tasks inchanging students'learning style, and teaching them how to study. Thispaper is developed just for the requests. The research majorly based onthe related theory of Marzanos taxonomy of educational objectives. InMarzanos taxonomy of educational objectives, taxonomy of cognitiveobjective is its core throughout the mainline that values highly thethinking ability and self-regulation ability of learner. Students ofelementary vocational and technical schools are student groups withspecial educational needs. Therefore, it is particularly important forthem to cultivate self study consciousness and capacity, and promotelearning efficiency in skill subject. Their study abilities in skill subject willdirectly influence their future career life. Under the big background ofquality education, the major research direction of this paper is how topromote learning efficiency of these students in skill subject under theguidance of new curriculum concept, thus to cultivate student's selfstudy consciousness and capacity. This paper took the clothingtechnology courses in elementary vocational and technical school ofone district from shanghai as example and made some trail research ofself study strategies in skill subjects combining the partial self studystrategies at home and abroad and related theory of specialeducation and vocational education. The education research of thispaper is also based on the cultivation of learner's thinking ability. Withthe application of three self study strategies in teaching design menutype technology movies, filling and compiling of songs and transfer learning way, the paper designed the self study learning strategies inteaching and cultivated the self-regulation ability of students withspecial educational needs and enabling them to learn some learningstrategies and methods. It is to gradually promote student's strategiclearning ability and level, and cultivate their good thinking habits andcapacity in self study. The research will further rich the teaching theoryand study strategies of skill subject in vocational school. It has importantvalue in raising teaching quality of clothing technology education andeven the skill subject in elementary vocational and technical school.
