| Our country has made great progress in the area of sports in recent years, but the development of the level of athletic training is not coordinate. The reason why we should make the analysis of the prevention in sports injure, recovery and management is the sports injuries at large. The representative of the USA in athletic training is successful based on its experience and achievements. The writer made the methods of content analysis analyzed《Journal of athletic training》which published by USA from 2000-2009years so as to reveal the current situation and trends in the athletic training in USA. Also the conclusion can offer some theory references for our athletic training. Conclusion:1 The ups and downs periods of the amounts of publication are abnormal in 2000-2003years. The trends of the amounts of publication rise after 2004 year. From the amounts of column publication, the first is the clinic research, the second is observe research, the others researches(the learning theory research, educational research, evidence-based research, case report research) are few.2 From cooperation between the writers, the amounts of the cooperation between the writers are huge , and the rate of theirs is high; From the cooperation between the essays, the cooperation between the writers in doors is high, outdoors is low. From the geographic position in the writers, the writers are mainly scatter in North America, Europe; The writers in the USA is high ,the second is British. From the system scatters in the writers, the units of the writers are major in the comprehensive universities, the last is high school or middle school. From the specialized subject background , the mounts of athletic training is huge. From the type of design, the mounts of doctors and athletic trainers are huge, the second is graduates. From the aspect of core writers, the writers are major in USA.3 The theme of the clinic research is the major part in JAT. From the theme of the observe research, the research on the athletic trainers is high. The theme of case-report is a new trend. From the theme educational research, the research on athletic trainers is high. From the theme of base science reaearch, the research on helm is high. From the theme learning theory research, the discussion among educational environment, specility and amateurs.4 From the crucial words, the theme is mainly in education, athletic training and athletic trainers. And the writer compare to the indoor statue based on the current conclusion.
