harmonious campus, a very important part of harmonious society, can lead and promote the construction of harmonious society. Constructing harmonious campus in universities is not only the requests of constructing harmonious society, but also the needs of itself development. The construction of harmonious universities has become the belief and value orientation of higher educational reformation and development.Cultural ecology is the matrix of human existence. It is not only a theory system, but a study method. The university campus itself is a kind of cultural ecology system. To explore the method for constructing harmonious campus under the perspective of cultural ecology, and to analyze the causal facts by using integral, interacting and contact conception can not only promote the development of campus construction and improve the quality of teaching and scientific studying, but also can enrich educational study both in theory and practice.The main content of this paper is to analyze the relationship between cultural ecology and harmonious campus and study the constructing harmonious campus from the perspective of cultural ecology, based on the concept and connotation of cultural ecology and harmonious campus. It can be divided into fore contents:harmonious between human and the nature, human and the society, human and human, human and himself. From these four aspects, this thesis deeply analysis some problems and reasons during the process of constructing harmonious university presently. Then further provide strategies for constructing harmonious university from inner cultural ecology, outer cultural ecology, and harmonious cultural ecology.
