Research On Special Psychological Character Of Chinese Beach Volleyball Athletes

When two teams on same level compete, the final ending is not only decided by their skills and tactics, but also by the psychological quality of the athletes. A good player can face the difficulties bravely, deal with the actual situation calmly, and take effective measures to cope with the ball decisively. On the contrary, a player with poor psychological quality may fluster himself at the crucial moment. The whole competition of beach volleyball is controlled by the two athletes. Therefore, higher demand for psychological quality of the athletes is needed.This article makes a series of analyses with regard to the research on special psychological character of Chinese beach volleyball, by using materials, psychological measurement, expert consultation, logical analysis, mathematical statistics and some other methods. Meanwhile, it raises some ideas about the selection of beach volleyball athletes, hoping to provide some beneficial reference for the development of beach volleyball.The results of the research indicate the three points below:5.1 The character of Chinese beach volleyball athletes: sociable, rational, self-control, active. The sportsman is sociable and eager to achieve. The sportswoman has stable emotion and strong self-control ability.5.2 The excellent Chinese beach volleyball athletes have upper special psychological character in seven dimensions-- tenacity, excitability, sense, self-control, emotion, enterprise, and flexibility. Case analysis WuPengGen xue Chen and that the self-control ability aspects are stronger, but in social sex and flexibility xue Chen, WuPengGen low dimension scores in excitability dimension scores were too low.5.3 The beach volleyball athletes of different level have marked difference in tenacity, emotion, flexibility, and some other dimensions. The bigger the disparity is, the clearer the differentia of special psychological character is. There isn't obvious difference in sportsmen's special psychological character. For sportswomen, there are quiet clear differences in tenacity and flexibility, also a bit different in emotion.5.4 There is prominent difference between the two genders of beach volleyball athletes on the aspect of enterprise. Sportsmen tend to get higher score than sportswomen. It's mainly caused by the discrepancy in physiology and psychology between men and women. For beach volleyball athletes from different ages, there is little differentia in the special psychological character.Because the limit of the time, the absence of the theory in psychology field and the deficient experience, the description of special psychology character for Chinese beach volleyball athletes groups are not so extensive and profound. As for the several kinds of relationships between the personality character of beach volleyball and the applying pattern, it fails to find a corresponding and effective suggestion from the aspect of psychology. So I advise to add the amount of the swatch if it is possible. We can compare the international psychological character with the character of our country, combining the questionnaire with the experiment, to get a more reliable convincing conclusion.
