Deaf Education is a part of higher education, the cultivation and management of deaf college students is directly related to the development of Deaf Education.Personality reflects the tendency of some personal sense of stability and unique with a variety of psychological characteristics, that individual's mental outlook, the overall depth of personal characteristics. Personality characteristics of deaf studies, is conducive to student development as the center of the deaf college student affairs administration.In this paper, the study of deaf sample of engineering students, through their questionnaires and compared with the normal analysis of engineering students, trying to explore and interpret the personality characteristics of deaf students to develop and propose specific measures for management of deaf college students.The main contents of this paper: (1) to investigate the personality characteristics of engineering students in the Deaf; (2) survey of engineering students in Deaf Students in Engineering and normal differences of personality characteristics; (3) Management of engineering students for the deaf to make recommendations.Methods: Extraction of Beijing Union University, Tianjin Polytechnic University for the Deaf Institute of Technology, Changchun University, Institute of Special Education 200 students called the experimental group, Tianjin Polytechnic University, School of Computer Science and art as control group of 150 students, and I designed using the CPI questionnaire questionnaire measured general information and sampling data for processing by SPSS16.0.Conclusion:①deaf and normal college students of engineering students, there was significant personality differences to distinguish between CPI eighteen dimensions of personality characteristics of deaf college students and normal students in the progressive skills, social manners, suitability, responsibility, socialization, tolerance, compliance achievement, intellectual performance, mental sensitivity, flexibility, 11 dimensions, there was significant difference in these students is poor relative to the normal dimensions. Students on self-acceptance, the two dimensions of intellectual performance relative to the norm are excellent, and deaf students in self-acceptance, the two dimensions of intellectual performance is poor relative to the norm. Personality characteristics of deaf students by gender, grade, serving as student leaders, part-time work and family residence, whether the only child, is to speak six factors.②Deaf men weak self-control, easier than impulsive, easily angered; a lower sense of trust in others, relatively strong sensitivity to some, easier to cast doubt on the attitude of the outside world; but for others than their own concerns and views deal more open-minded girls.③Deaf social interest in the first year doctrinal; sophomore deaf to the self-ratings, self-esteem enhancement; more reasonable and easy to work with others; enjoy achievements in intellectual activity and knowledge; pursuit of knowledge and intellectual activities, knowledgeable able to concentrate on a people may feel tired and discouraged the task; susceptibility strong, more able to better judge the feelings of others and the view of things; and take risks. Third-year students a higher degree of social maturity, compared to observe the practices and standards, in better self-restraint; focus on their own impression on to others, pay attention to others for their views and reactions.④have had the experience of deaf student leaders did not experience relative to the performance of the deaf in the ascendancy, and strong motivation, work plans, easy to work with. Flexibility to reduce part-time job so deaf students, this is not a normal phenomenon.⑤deaf students from rural areas higher in the social aspects of self-confidence, more active, willing to express themselves. Only son of the family responsibilities and obligations of deaf students may be poor, more perfunctory; good restrain myself, and have the patience to good thinking; flexible, like the numerous and varied things, may be impatient or capricious. The faculty of speech deaf students more active, good performance of their own.Recommendation: the deaf transaction management files management, counseling management, different genders, different grades, practice activities, management recommendations made.
