The construction of university-based curriculum status quo and the caseanalysis Under the background of the basic education curriculum reform, theresearch investigates the status quo of university-based curriculum in eight nationalmiddle schools by the literature material method, interviews, survey method,statistic etc. The results show: The PE teachers in national middle schools ofNanning city could only understand superficially the related contents of coursesand the ability of teaching courses should be improved. The teaching environmentof the national school could not meet the demand of teaching. The subject factorinvolved in the course lacks reason. The condition that the PE teachers should betrained is not optimistic. The students agree that the traditional ethnic sports shouldbe taken in the teaching contents. The main influences are: Utilitarianismeducation purpose restricts the construction of curriculum, and lacks the effectivedirect and support. The PE teachers'curriculum awareness and the ability ofdeveloping the curriculum are weak. The research analysis the successful case inPeihong national school of Nanning city and find that the PE-based national schoolof Peihong takes the health as first, life -long sports and the students-oriented andthe guideline as exercises one hour per day. The paper summarizes the procedureof the construction of curriculum and form the theory mode and practical mode ofthe curriculum. The construction of the curriculum promotes the development ofteachers'professions, the reform of the curriculum and the overall development ofthe school sports. At present the factors that influence the curriculum are: the lackof the material and information. The teachers are unskilled in the teaching methodsof curriculum, prejudices exists among the students on the national traditionalsports and the shortage of equipment that national traditional sports need and themoney spent on this project.
