The practical results of using Chinese textbook will directly influence the whole quality and teachings'level of Chinese teaching as Chinese curriculum carrier. The Chinese curriculum value and ideas that textbook bears should be realized through the medium of teaching by teacher. Therefore, the essential part to push on the bilingual teaching in Xinjiang lies in the teachers'understanding towards the textbook and the reasonable use of it. What is the actual situation on teacher'using Chinese textbook when most schools use the Language-literature as Chinese textbook in the bilingual class in Xinjiang. How to improve the teacher's level of using Chinese textbook? These researches on using Chinese textbook are very important to improve the bilingual teaching smoothly and effectively in Xinjiang.These are questions needs deeply research. The thesis'purpose is to know the current situation on teacher's level of using Chinese textbook in Urumqi, Xinjiang.By analyzing the factors which influence the using textbook of teacher the writer hope to find the effective methods to improve the teacher's level of use Chinese textbook, making the theory research service bilingual teaching practice.The writer collects and sorts out the researches about textbook in native and abroad. Based on these materials the writer gives the way and thinking of the research, at the same time, the writer compiles the questionnaire on the situation of teacher using Chinese textbook in primary school by herself. The questionnaire based on teacher's understanding towards textbook and using the textbook in order to know the current situation on teacher using textbook. In the class observation the writer measure the level of using textbook from fours angels in the model on teacher's level of using textbook, which is formed in the work the explore on the research method of textbook quality–take math's as a case by Kongfanzhe. The writer analyses the teacher's level of using textbook in Urumqi. Combine the results of questionnaire and the mark of teacher's level, the situation of the teacher using textbook in Urumqi has these questions: the whole teachers'level of using textbook is low; teacher's understanding textbook was inflexible; the ability of conformity and using textbook was not good; little ideas about evaluate textbook.The writer considers some factor may influence the teacher's level of using textbook based on the results of questionnaire and class observations, such as the teacher's professional knowledge, the view of curriculum, the resource of curriculum, the guide towards curriculum evaluate. So the writer gives five strategies to improve the teacher's level of using textbook. First, improve the Chinese knowledge, and then promote ability of master curriculum standard and conformity textbook. Secondly, research the content and demand of Chinese curriculum standard deeply. Thirdly guide the teacher to set up the right view of textbook and use them in the class. The fourth, establish the curriculum resource to set up a platform for using textbook.
