The writer is trying to analyse deeply Piaget and vykotsky's constructing thoughts to understand their contribution to constructing learning and tries to synthesize their respective reansonable ideas from the perspective of the dialectic relationship between the individual and society in the process of the development of constructing learning ideas.the writer hopes her work will be helpful to form perfect and available instructive scientific teaching theory.The main ideas of constructing leamingJcnowledge is not accurate representation of reality.Leaming is a process of creating knowledge by interaction between one's new and old experience .Both individual and society influence one's learning.Constructing learning is based on Piaget's genetic epistemology.He regard knowledge and the development of cognitive structures as results of interaction between the structure of the organism and the structure of the environment.Dev玪opment involves basic transformations of cognitive structure that cannot be understand in terms of associative(S-R)bonds but must be explained in terms of organizational wholes or systems of internal relations.The cognitive structures develop through the action of the person on the environment.The person construct plays a primary role in the development of cognitive structures.One cannot speed up the process of intellectual growth.Piaget emphasize the factor of organism not society.So he is regarded as the pioneer of individual constructivism.Vygotsky's Cultural-historical development theory is verv helpful to develop the conducting learning, Vygotsky think psychological development are results of interaction between the individual and social environment.He emphisize that society restrain individual construction.So he is regarded as the pioneer of social constructivism.His theory about sociocultural approaches to psychological development supplement Piaget's cognitive developmental theory.Piaget and Vygotsky's theory have common points:Congnitive development are results of interaction between subject and object;Congnitive structure is a dynamic and developmental entirety.The old cognitive structure play an important role in individual constructing processes-Constructing learning forms on the premise of these common points. Vigotski's thought on 'Teaching and development'make up that of Piaget but Piagetjs concept of equilibration is more concrete than Vygotski's concept of intemalization.Equilibration is restrained by social evironment These ideas are very instructive in education practice.The connotative meaning of these ideas lies in the education process as the active interaction among teachers and students.So Piaget and Vygotsky's theory develop the constucting learning idea and instruct teaching practice in common.
