This Paper aims to research and summarize the history of Chinese Education as itwas influenced by Foreign Education's three Periods of the greatest development in the20th century. Firstly, a historical review of the three learning climaxes are introduced.Secondly, a historical summary of these three learning climaxes are made. Throughconcrete analysis these three periods have proven to have positive and negative effects onChinese Education. Finally, based on the above review, analysis and summary , theauthor puts forward some insights and suggestions for the current reform anddevelopment of Chinese Education: 1) Opening the door and learning widely are thecorrect attitudes in dealing with foreign culture ; leaning only one side or having blindopposition to everything foreign inevitably brings about huge obstacles in educationdeveloping ; 2) When learning from foreign education, we should keep a foothold on ourown culture, turn our face to the world and the tradition and make innovations ; 3)Stressing educational experiments should 1ay a foundation for educational reform ; 4)Wide1y developing international exchange, we should make great efforts to upgradedomestic personnel training abilities ; 5) It is a prerequisite to accomplish educationalmodernization in order to deal with assimilating foreign cultures with our own as well asproperly carrying forward our own valuable traditions.
