In consideration of the dilemma in the normal education and the urgent requirement of raising the professional teaching ability level, this article will make a tentative exploration to the theory and practice of classroom teaching on the subject-pedagogy curriculum. This article includes three parts:Part one will expound the significant influence of the exploration from three aspects: The requirement of the international trend of teaching professionalism; The challenge and opportunities that the normal universities face now; The special knowledge structure and the problems in classroom teaching of the subject-pedagogy curriculum.Part two will review the research of teaching ability from four aspects: the nature of teaching ability; the teaching ability and the teachers ' knowledge structure; the construct of teaching ability; the forming and developing stage of teaching ability. This review will provide a sound basis and exploring clue for the following exploration.In part three, first, considering the students' development need and on the basis of the construct of the teaching ability, the article will establish the teaching objective fields on the subject-pedagogy curriculum; Second, according to the developing stage on the teaching ability and the value of different teaching contents, this article put the teaching emphasis on the cognition field; then, in every projective field this article will discuss the two primary problems: teach what and how to teach; last, combine the test in the subject-pedagogy curriculum, the article will give a preliminary summary of all the above discussion. This is the core part.
