The 21 st century is an unprecedented era of knowledge competition in human history.Knowledge innovation has become the core force to promote social progress.Actively cultivating and introducing world-class talents is the necessary means for all countries in the world to stand on the world stage.Postgraduate education is the highest stage of the national education echelon.It aims at cultivating high-quality,high-level and high-level research talents,serving the society and promoting social progress.Focusing on social hot spots,overcoming construction difficulties,leading future development,and providing outstanding talent support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation are the mission of postgraduate education in China.Faced with the increasingly fierce international competition in the 21 st century,China's graduate education should pay more attention to the improvement of "quality" while meeting the needs of the public.Master of Education postgraduates are an important part of the high-level talent team in China.However,with the implementation of the enrollment expansion policy in 1999,many problems have gradually emerged in the process of large-scale training of Postgraduates of education,among which the key to solve many problems is to improve their academic ability.Based on the analysis of the three academic marks of pedagogy: metaphorical thinking,construction of meaning space and concern for practice,six elements of academic competence of Postgraduates in pedagogy are identified,which are logical thinking ability of theory,organizational expression ability of language,interdisciplinary integration and innovation ability,and the body of educational knowledge.Knowledge ability,sensitive ability to educational problems and generalization and sublimation ability of educational practice.The influencing factors are divided into two parts: the main influencing factors(knowledge structure,cognitive interest,self-management)and the external influencing factors(material infrastructure construction,academic research funds,tutors,curriculum design,academic culture).The results of this survey show that the overall academic competence level of master of education graduates is low,and there is a problem of unbalanced development of academic competence structure.In the analysis of the test results of eight factors affecting the academic ability of 217 Postgraduates of Master of Education,the following reasons are found: the knowledge structure of Postgraduates of Master of Education is defective,understanding interest in academic research is low,the self-discipline consciousness of self-management is weak,the places of study and academic research are not guaranteed,the financial support for academic research is insufficient,and the tutors guide students.The proportion of subjects involved is low,the curriculum needs to be improved,and the academic culture needs to be developed.Therefore,the author suggests that we should comprehensively improve the individual and environment in order to promote the development of the academic ability of Postgraduates in education.
