The Study Of Research Paper Abstract

The precious studies of research paper abstract fell into the scopes of research of the computer specialists and the expert of philologers. However, their researches were not ample and not thorough .In this article, the author selects about six hundred from the internal authoritative periodicals such as Chinese Social Sciences, Chinese Language, Chinese Sciences and the other ones as the statistical sample and studies them from the angle of linguistics. The findings is all this: Firstly, the research paper abstract may be divide into three parts by their semantic features, the background elements of abstract, the main body elements of abstract and the adverse 梫alue elements of abstract. Every one has three features and contains their subelements of abstract. The background element abstract comprises two subelements: the reason abstract subelement and the current situation subelement, including three main characteristics: the value feature, accomplishment feature and other-involved elements. The main body element of abstract is the above-place element of abstract that the mode subelement and the content subelement are in it, also including three features such as the depict feature, the principal-subordinate feature and self-involved feature. Yet the adverse value abstract element has the adverse value feature, the future feature and unsophisticated feature, which comprises value subelement, the aim subelement, and problem subelement. Secondly, the reason subelement of abstract, the current situation subelement, the mode subelement, the aim subelement, the value subelement, the problem subelement are determined through the statistical method. Deciding the selection of the abstract subelements must bring the statistical method and cognition 梖orecasted method together. The content subelements are indispensable in each abstract and the other six ones are possible ones but not abundant ones though their low distribution frequency. The sentence formal calculable pattern may be obtained with the same method. The abstract element order is gain with the same method, too. ii Using the sentence model as the sign of the abstract element is more scientific and more reasonable as its linguistics knowledge than the method of word-clue ,for the later may get rise to the limitations that one word is versatile and not fixed. Thirstily, the regular model comprises models suited to both man and computer. The later is more important in the two. The abstract model suited to the computer must adopt the alone-content subelement, the most typical sentence model, the only natural organic order and the commanding words. In other words, building a model suited to computer must consider the complexity, the typicalness of the sentence model, the organic relation of abstract element and the commanding-word or not. At last, the ultimate aim of the article is inquiring the construction of the research paper and building the regular model suited to both man and computer for the sake of academic standard of abstract and the automatic generation of the abstract.
