In China,abstract art education hasn't been attracted much attention,which is regarded as a common art appreciation course in senior high school.It was developed early overseas.There are more mature works.Although it's developed late,abstract artists create many excellent works that has been made great progress in China.It is applied widely in all kinds of fields,such as design,sculpture,calligraphy,painting and photography......And there are classic abstract art masterpieces in many fields.However,some problems about abstract art teaching are found in the course of the implementation of the new curriculum standards.For example,it is usually overlooked because of the difficulty,the improper teaching method and the indepth of contents......It hinders the teaching of abstract art.It is beneficial to cultivate the thinking ability,if our appreciation level has been improved.It is also crucial important to cultivate the students' creativity.It is necessary to popularize the abstract art education at the present times.Therefore,I mainly introduced the characteristics of the abstract art education used in various fields.Throughing the cases of high senior school art education,I tried to explore its future prospects.This paper is described in three parts.Firstly,it summarizes the status the scholar's points about the abstract art education.Secondly,it introduces the resources used in the abstract art teaching,which includes abstract sculpture,photography,calligraphy,design,and so on.These resources rooted in wide range of practice have strong significance in education.Thirdly,this part focuses on the teaching plan and teaching strategy of "walking into abstract art" in senior high school.The senior high school students' ability and creative ability of abstract art will be raised,throughing the study of this subject.This paper explores the ways to implement abstract art in senior high school and provides suggestions for the future of abstract art teaching.
