Design And Implementation Of Network Instructional System

With the rapid development of networks technology, especially the extensive application of Web technology, at the same time, massive construction of networks basic facilities and the imperious need of sharing the teaching resources, it becomes more and more important to construct the Network Instructional System of Beijing Polytechnic University ( NIS BJPU). The educational system based on Internet doesn limit to time, space and terrain. Correspondingly, the teaching mode has changed from traditional teaching mode at the center of teachers to modern one at the center of students. NIS_BJPU is an applied system developed on the operating system of Windows NT, utilizing the technology of ASP and ADO to access the Oracle database. And Microsoft 115 acts as the Web server. Based on the practice of developing NISBJPU, this paper mainly discusses Internet technology, the educational system and the teaching mode based on the Internet, the development of computing mode, the composing of Web and the Web programming technology. In detail it expounds the idea of design and implementation of NIS_B.JPU and the research of management mechanism and security mechanism of NIS_BJPU.
