By researching the investing of education and the distribution ofeducational capital in Sichuan Province in the Republic of China,finally Ireach the conclusion that on the whole,educational capital was not enough,and there was lack in educational capitaL In the whole Repulic of Chinaeducational capital in Sichuan Province mainly came from the investments ofthe government besides the persons and other social organizations .Since economic of Sichuan underdevoped,there was a disbalance between input and output in fisics.The investVof education was occupied by wars and warlords and the officials fromJthe governments and of schools.And education expenditure suffered from wars all the way. Sichuan's schools and students were more than other province's,the average distribution of educational capital was certainly less.The total expenditure were always insufficient and the distribution was not reasonable .The government put emphasis on colleges,not middle schools and elementary schools.In the middle schools general middle schools were more than normal and social and occupational schools.So the teacher's salary was very low,educational facilities were awful,and the equipment was simple.The proportion of children who can go to school was not high.The college students in 1000 persens were very few.The cultural degree in the cities was higher than in the rural,but the total cultural degree was low.
