Family is the primitive environment for the gestation and growth of human life.It is also an important link for the emergence and development of human cognition. The cultural imprint accumulated by family over a long period of time will affect the growth and success of human beings. The role of family cultural capital in personal growth and growth has been recognized by scholars from all walks of life. The research on the influence of employment intention of graduates from higher education points out that the employment of graduates depends not only on personal factors, but also on family factors. With the rapid expansion of the source of higher education students, the employment problem of university graduates is serious, and the employment problem of master graduates is becoming increasingly prominent. Not only college graduates,as master graduates, employment is an inevitable choice to realize their own personal and social values.Obtaining employment opportunities is the main way for students to enter society, and at the same time improve the quality of employment,so that students can achieve high-quality employment.Based on the literature review of family cultural capital, guided by Bourdieu's theory of cultural capital, this study divides family cultural capital into three forms: concrete cultural capital, objectified cultural capital and institutionalized cultural capital. This study takes S Normal University as an example to study the impact of family cultural capital on students' employment intention. It aims at understanding and analyzing the impact of family cultural capital on students' employment intention, and illustrates the impact of family cultural capital on students' employment intention in this study. This study compiles a self-designed questionnaire "S Normal University Graduate Students' Family Cultural Capital and Employment Intention" questionnaire. The subjects of this survey are all students of Graduate School of Master of Education of S Normal University. They are divided into 14 majors.190 copies are distributed and 98% of them are recovered. After that, effective questionnaires are processed.By issuing questionnaires to the population of postgraduates, the data obtained are analyzed and summarized in a unified way,and the correlation between the two is obtained, which provides a basis for the progress of theoretical and practical research.Through in-depth understanding and analysis of graduate students of Master of Education, this paper illustrates the correlation between family cultural capital factors and students' employment intention in this study, and draws a conclusion: the correlation between family objectified cultural capital and employment intention includes that the number of family collections is significantly correlated with students' ideal monthly salary and students' professional counterpart degree, and that family amateur activities are significantly correlated with the preferred area for choosing jobs.Relevant.The correlation between family institutionalized cultural capital and employment intention includes that teachers' qualification certificate acquisition is significantly correlated with ideal monthly salary and professional counterpart degree, parents' education level is significantly correlated with ideal monthly salary, and vocational qualification certificate acquisition is not correlated with ideal monthly salary, preferred area of career choice and professional counterpart degree.Family specific cultural capital is not related to employment intention.Suggestions are put forward for the conclusion from the social level, the school level, the family level and the individual level of students.
